“Chhaava” commenced its journey with an impressive opening weekend, surpassing the ₹100 crore mark. On its fifth day, the film maintained its momentum, earning ₹24.5 crore, which brought its total net collection in India to ₹165 crore. The gross domestic collection stands at ₹168.6 crore, while the worldwide earnings have reached ₹195.6 crore, including ₹27 crore from overseas markets.
Surpassing Previous Records
This stellar performance has positioned “Chhaava” as Vicky Kaushal’s second-highest-grossing film, overtaking the lifetime collections of “Raazi” and “Sam Bahadur.” It is now only ₹50 crore shy of surpassing “Uri: The Surgical Strike,” which grossed ₹244.14 crore, to become Kaushal’s biggest hit to date.

The film has received widespread acclaim, with particular praise for its storytelling, direction, and performances. Occupancy rates have been notably high in regions like Pune, which reported a 69% occupancy on Tuesday with 705 shows. Mumbai followed with 54% occupancy across 1,419 shows, while Delhi-NCR had an 18% occupancy with 1,318 shows. The positive reception in Maharashtra and southern states has significantly contributed to the film’s robust box office performance.
